Scott Bedley
SCOTT BEDLEY, Teacher at Elementary and Secondary levels and National Educational Consultant for the National Character Education Center. Scott is currently a fifth Grade Teacher in Irvine California. Scott has been developing curriculum for the past 15 years. He started developing curriculum as a youth worker in Irvine in 1990 and most recently developed a standards based grammar curriculum based on the use of classic literature such as John Steinbeck and Robert Frost. Scott has a breadth of experience, from integrating computers into the classroom to physical education and all curriculum areas k-12. A graduate of Southern California College and the University of California at Irvine, Mr. Bedley is also certified to work with students who have English as a second language. His comprehensive and high level training in differentiation and addressing the needs of gifted students has enabled him to coordinate school wide programs.. A recognized authority in character education, Mr. Bedley has taught for eleven years, nine of which have been in Irvine Unified School District, a nationally recognized district for its excellence and innovation in education. Scott is co author of Character In Motion a standards Based Character Education Program that centers around a series of Professional Athletes Autobiographies
