Login Help...
Did my user name change? I thought it was my email address.
Yes, your user name might have changed. Up to this point the user name has always been the email address you specified when you signed up. The change is very simple. It is now everything that comes before the "@" in your email address. For example. If the email address is johndoe@ethicsusa.com, your user name would be johndoe. We did this in order to make it easier to login by not requiring you to enter your entire email address. Once you are logged in you can modify any of the information in your profile -- including your user name. Just click on the "My Profile" link at the top of the page.
I know I've signed up before. Why can't I log in now?
There might be two reasons for this. One reason is that we have "cleaned" our database of users with incomplete information, duplicate records, etc... If we inadvertantly deleted your record, we apologize. The second reason is that you might have signed up while our site was being changed over. We are aware that we might have lost some recent sign-ups. We sincerely apologize if this affected you. Rest assured that the improvements we have made will ensure this will not happen again.
Why would I want to log out?
If you access the site from home, then not logging out adds to your convenience by not requiring you to log in each time you return to the site. But, if you access the site from a public terminal - i.e. at school or other public place where others could use the computer after you leave - you will want to log out. This would prevent anyone from modifying your profile or doing anything "in your name".
